Tangbar vault wall reinforcement is manufactured from 3mm steel plates of 178mm (7") or 288mm (9") widths that are cut to form a double-sided comb which is then twisted to radiate tangs in all directions. Tangbar does not replace structural steel and acts only as a very cost-effective method to greatly increase the security level of strong room walls.

Chubb Centurion main vault door is available in European Grades from V to XIII KB, the highest specified grade in the world that very few, if any, company can manufacture. The Centurion uses modern materials to produce the highest level of protection against thermal and mechanical attacks and is fitted with a single-leaf ventilating grille gate with dual locking for daytime use. The door is secured as standard by one key lock and one programmable electronic digital code lock operating six rectangular bolts on the leading edge. Alternative and additional locking systems are available. The standard door opening is 900mm wide and oversize doors to allow the passage of trolleys and forklifts can be supplied upon request. Protectair vault ventilator system allows cool, air conditioned air to enter the strong room without compromising security. Protectair contains special barrier materials that meet the highest security specifications and all moving parts are contained within the vault area and so are only accessible once the strong room has been opened. Protectair is operated by an electric switch connected to the air conditioning system or can be operated manually in the event of a power failure.

Chubb Drop-Shut Ventilator is designed for installation in secured archive and record rooms where it is advisable keep the area ventilated for the benefit of staff and to prevent the degradation of documents and data. In the event of a fire the ventilator will automatically shut when temperatures exceed 100oC. The drop-shut ventilator is available with a double-end grille or single-end grille where the wall is not sufficiently thick.

Sapphire Safety Deposit Lockers are bespoke designed for each customer and no two installations are the same. The individual lockers are available in several sizes and so there are numerous possible configurations. Each locker is fitted with a dual control 10-lever key lock with two keyholes, one for the renter and the other for the custodian ensuring that both must be present when deposit locker is accessed. Alternative electronic locking is available as an option.
